Whether you are traveling by suburban train, regional train, underground, tram, or bus in the association's area, VGN Fahrplan & Tickets is your always available companion. Quickly and easily, you will receive information about connections, current departure times, and see which platform your train departs from. Thanks to real-time information, you will always stay up to date even in case of last-minute changes or disruptions, optionally with push notifications in the info center. Even with your car, you will always reach your destination optimally thanks to the P+R route guidance. Purchase selected VGN tickets quickly and conveniently - and if you like - directly from the connection search. By the way, in Nuremberg, every fourth single ticket is now purchased through this app.

Simply enter a stop, an address, an important point as your starting and destination point, use your current position or select a contact (optional), and you will receive all important information for the next connections. Easily share your connection with friends or save it in your calendar.

You have the option to allow the app access to your contacts in the settings in order to easily use addresses stored there as start or destination points. When selecting a contact, only the selected address is sent to the VGN information system. Our timetable information cannot distinguish whether the address comes from contacts or was entered manually. Therefore, the app requires, among other things, permission for contacts.

In addition, an internet connection is required to use all the features of the information app and to purchase a ticket. For the automatic use of a nearby stop, activation of the location function is required.
